JOB SUMMARY
Lead and administrate Operations Materials organization including Purchasing, Planning, Logistics and Inventory Control functions within a Jabil operation.
Support the development and implementation of Supply Chain strategies and systems.
Ensure that Materials Department supports the Operation in meeting customer requirements: Manage customer's demand. Ensure that materials supply equal demand. Optimize overall cost of materials. Control materials from supplier to the Operation and to the customer as well as between other Jabil Operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Lead and administrate the Materials organization within a Jabil operation.
Support interaction with customers and suppliers to obtain feedback and ensure Operation's Materials Department's collaboration with Jabil SCM, other Jabil Operations, suppliers, and customers to develop supply chain solution that improves Jabil's performance and service levels.
- Execute Materials functions according to the business objectives and policies & procedures. - Monitor and drive down overall cost of materials including freight expenses, administration expenses, and cost of materials management.

- Eliminate Jabil's materials liability and minimize materials liabilities for customers. Ensure that all materials in stock and on order peg to customer authorized purchases and that purchase orders are placed with terms & conditions that are negotiated and agreed to by Jabil Commodity Managers and Buyers.
- Ensure that Operation's supply base contributes to success of the Operation and that suppliers are selected based on overall cost effectiveness and their ability to meet Jabil's requirements.

- Provide business analysis and process/system development resources to optimize transactions and provide required information to the Operation, customers, and the department in a timely, readable format to optimize materials mgt. performance.
- Ensure timely and accurate material movements through all inventory areas at the lowest total possible cost.
- Ensure all material transactions within Jabil and with customers and suppliers are optimized and accurate.
The following operational metrics objectives are met or exceeded and are continually improving:
- On-time Delivery to customer requested ship date, stock-outs
- Sales Forecast Accuracy
- External & Internal materials downtime
- Material Price Variance
- Other Performance metrics and Profit Analysis Reporting metrics

Job Requirements: 5-7 years of experience in Manufacturing Industry related to Purchasing, Planning, and Materials Management. An experience in managing department(s) responsible for some or all aspects of materials control functions.
Demonstrate financial understanding of materials and supply chain performance.
Strong skills in the following areas: communication, leadership, business analysis, process and system development, administration, and change management.
